HEEL:                Sit at handler's left side, facing forward.<BR>

STAY:                 Dog must not change position or move away; attention     <BR>
                            should be engaged, and dog should be anticipating <BR>
                            release or command.<BR>
<BR>
COME:               Sit in front, facing and looking up at handler.<BR>
<BR>
STAND:              Stand as positioned, not moving paws.<BR>
<BR>
TAKE IT:             Hold object in mouth.<BR>
<BR>
THANK YOU:     Release object from mouth.<BR>
<BR>
FETCH:              Sit in front of handler (as in "come") with object in mouth.<BR>
<BR>
RIGHT:                Sit at handler's right side (opposite of "heel").<BR>
<BR>
BACK:                 Walk backwards.<BR>
<BR>

<B>Hand Signals:</B><BR>
<BR>
DOWN:                Right hand up palm facing dog.<BR>
<BR>
SIT:                       Left hand up, palm facing handler.<BR>
<BR>
COME:                 Right hand moves diagonally up, from right side to chest,        <BR>
                              palm toward handler.<BR>
<BR>
HEEL(finish):       Left hand, palm down, on diagonal from stomach to left <BR>
                              side.<BR>
<BR>
STAND:                Right hand moves forward from dogs face (at eye level, <BR>
                               parallel to floor) about 12 inches.<BR>
<BR>
STAY:                    Palm of left hand in front of dog's face; no hand motion.<BR>
<BR>
GO:                        Left arm at 90* angle, back of hand even with right side <BR>
                               of dog's face; hand is moved forward parallel to floor, <BR>
                               sending dog in direction hand points.<BR>
